Synopsis
Charles Vandenhove is considered to be one of the most important figures in the architecture of the second half of the 20th Century, following on from the great masters: Henri Van de Velde, Mies Van der Rohe, and, of course, Le Corbusier. This discreet, almost enigmatic, man has practised his profession with true passion. A passionate and refined art lover, Charles Vandenhove collaborated on this project with some of the most renowned figures in contemporary art: Sol Lewitt, Daniel Buren and Niels Toroni.
In his work, Charles Vandenhove has always sought a certain harmony: between classical and modern art, between each work and its aesthetic, cultural and historical environment.
