NESTLE, UN EMPIRE EN AFRIQUE
By Judith Rueff

Synopsis
An Empire in Africa" tells the story of the struggle of a Cameroonian industrialist against the Swiss agri-food giant, Nestlé. The film follows Pius Bissek, the owner of a dairy factory in Douala, who accuses Nestlé of importing "fake milks" made from palm oil and coconut and causing the downfall of his business. For ten years, surrounded by his former employees, he has been fighting to reopen his factory. The case is now in the hands of the Supreme Court judges. Nestlé feeds the world... and you? What do you know about the empire hidden in your pantry?
