Synopsis
In the heart of an orphanage in Kivu, children wounded by the wars in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo are rebuilding a family of their own. Led by Sister Clotilde, often away on distant missions, this haven of resilience reveals their solidarity and profound courage.
Through their words and drawings, their stories of exile and loss unfold, along with their desire for truth, their hope for a bright future, and their rage to exist. Among them, Chantal and Paulin, a brother and sister born of war rape, meet for the first time, far from their native village. Driven by the need to understand their roots, they set out in search of their mother and of a sense of identity.
